GENERAL PROPERTIES:
High chemical, corrosion & impact resistance:
uPVc drainage system is unaffected by majority of chemicals, effluents & aggressive soils. It is resistant to oils, fats, alcohols & aromatic free petrols but should be considered unsuitable for use with aromatic & chlorinated hydrocarbons, Ketones, esters & ethers which leads to marked softening & swelling of the material. Moreover it is corrosion free & have high impact strength, hence not prone to mechanical damage in handling & transportation (chemical resistance chart can be made available on request..
High standards & wide range:
Pipes conforms to IS 13592 -92 & the fittings are made to international standards & they have a minimum thickness of 3.2 mm & are available in three different sizes 7.5 mm , 110mm & 160mm. As pipes are available in 10 feet lengths, number of joints are lesser thus saves installation cost. They made suitable for put door application as they are uv-stabilized & lasts for life time. The wide filling range with different traps fulfills all the requirements & hence customer need not to depend on conventional system for any reason.
High Flow Rates:
flow characteristics are ensured by the mirror smooth , restriction free inner surface of SWR pipes & fittings thus brings an end to all the problems of clogging & drain choke up.
Convenient:
Being extremely light in weight & provided with special rubber jointing technique, installation procedure becomes much easier. Jointing can be done in seconds time with a specially designed rubber rings which virtually eliminates the possibility of leakages. Cleaning becomes easier as the system is provided with unique cleaning arrangement consisting of threaded door caps. There fore the problem of opening & closing of rusted nuts & bolts on conventional cleaning plug is totally eliminated.

Working Temperature Range:
uPVC pipes & injection moulded fittings remain stable up to bout 600 C. The maximum temperature encountered by SWR drainage system at continuous full bore discharge of effluent is unlikely to exceed this figure. Full bore discharge at higher temperature are also permissible, provided the duration of discharge is not longer than two minutes, When pipes are not flowing full, high temperature can be tolerated for longer periods. The intermittent discharge of boiling or nearly boiling water from domestic cooking appliances, washing machines etc, does not normally exceed two minutes and there is usually a considerable drop in temperature as the waste has to pass through the trap of the fixture first.
Elehant:
SWR Drainage System are refreshing change from the conventional asbestos cement, cast iron or blow moulded fittings. Far from looking unsightly, they add a touch of smartness to the buildings.
Thermal Expansion & Contraction:
uPVC has a co-efficient of thermal expansion 5.4 x 10 -5 mm/mm/0C.This means that a 30 meter length will expand approximately 16.2 mm/100 c rise in temperature of the pipe material. However owing to the short duration of most effluent flows & the slow temperature response of the material, the greatest thermal movements take place due to variation in the environmental temperature rather than due to their effect of effluent discharge. Specially designed rubber rings with 10 mm expansion gap takes care of this expansion & contraction effect.
